~Paris Fall Tablescape and Simple & Sweet Fridays #85~

I thought it would be fun to do a Paris Fall Tablesetting.
Displaying white pumpkins and using
black and white as the color scheme.
I had a Eiffel Tower Candelabra
that my friend,Yuri, had given me.
It was perfect for the centerpiece.
A silver tray underneath and white pumpkins around it.
Some stamped paper placemats in black and white and
 white pumpkins with white roses.
Very Romantic!
I got inspired by an article in Romantic Homes using black and white as the color scheme for Fall.
They also used sheet music paper to wrap around votives.
A very simple touch and they look so pretty when lit.
Croissants and a French bottle of wine,
of course!!
A lemon tart and some chocolate macaroons.
I love having a centerpiece with candles on it.
I picked fresh butternut squash from the garden
to display with the white pumpkins.
Black candleholders and sheet music decoupaged candles
that I had made to create the Romantic mood.
I took a photo from upstairs.
It looked like a perfect magical Paris Table.
~Paris in the Fall~
A French Wall Sign that Yuri gave me too.
I have to find a special place to hang it.

Looking forward to all your wonderful Fall projects this week!

~Mother's Day Tablescape and Simple & Sweet Fridays~

I'm sure everyone is getting ready for Mother's Day.
I decorated the house with the color scheme of purple.
I had to add a little bling to my statue's headband.
Of course, pearls around her neck and
 she's holding some crocheted flowers.
I wanted to use some vellum paper I had for Mother's Day. I love the saying on it,
"Friends Are Flowers In The Garden Of Life"
I thought I could use it for name tags.
I dried and pressed some pansies.
I love how they turned out.
I found some pretty paper with a garden theme,
and made some rosettes.

We will be having
some strawberry cupcakes for dessert.
Don't they look pretty under the cloche.
Here's how the tablescape turned out.
I found some purple roses at Michael's Craft Store.
I used my lace tablecloth with a purple tablecloth underneath.
I made some purple pom poms with some tulle and hung them
with the rosettes on the chandelier.
My mother had given me this beautiful pitcher years ago.
I thought it was the perfect centerpiece.
I added some butterflies too.

Some lavender next to my antique silverware.
I'm still planning the menu and will share it with you later.
Can't wait to see all your wonderful ideas and creations.
Thank you again for always joining the party and giving  inspiration to all of us.

~Bistro De Paris Plates~

I loved these Paris plates I saw at Sur La Table
and I had to have them.
The red and white checkered design
and the script was just perfect.
I love how it looks with the fall decorations up.
I felt as though I was at an European restaurant.
There's always so many choices in the stores for fall table settings.
But I do like the casual look of a burlap centerpiece.
You can never go wrong with crystal glasses.

Glass makes your table shine and the colors of your tablescape reflect that.
The colors of fall are so pretty.
The deep purples and greens.
The Johnson Bros. tureen gives it that simple classic look. It brings back so many wonderful memories of the family dinners when I was little.
The Holidays Will Be Fun...
Always on the hunt for wonderful pieces to add to the table.
Maybe some Thanksgiving dishes this year.
